Children have been Kunwon’s major focus in its urban designs, ensuring that the developed environments are optimal for them. This focus has been the basis of Kunwon’s milestone projects which include the Busan Danggam Apartment Complex, Bundang New Town Master Plan, Sejong City’s the First Town Master Plan as well as the Hauendae I-Park. <br /><br /> In this context, large mixed-use complexes such as Dongtan Metapolis, Asan Pentaport and Pangyo Alpha-Dome have recently become a particularly strong offering of Kunwon. Additionally, we have undertaken a wide range of major governmental Project Financing (PF) projects including the War Memorial of Korea, Busan KTX Station and Korea World Trade Center Expansion as we are dedicated to upholding social responsibility. MXD emerged in Korea in the early 2000s as so-called ‘private-public project financing developments’, which have proliferated annually from then onwards. <br /><br /> A successful project manager (PM) and architect of large-scale MXD projects, Kunwon has achieved market monopoly, boasting the largest number of competitions won for and bringing the largest number of project to fruition. These include the ‘Dongtan Metapolis,’ ‘Asan Pentaport,’ and ‘Gwanggyo Econ-Hill.’ <br /><br /> In terms of program revision of local environment and business feasibility, several roles have been fulfilled by Kunwon, including intermediary between different conditions, such as legal limitations and site spatial make-up, and project leader coordinating the different decision-making agents.
